Mamie Jameka Thomas On October 21, 2007, the body of Mamie Jameka Thomas, 18, was found face-down and topless in a vacant lot in the 600 block of South Beach Street in Daytona Beach. She was found wearing only a short plaid skirt (a pair of shorts instead of skirt, according to a witness account) and sneakers. Having moved recently from Augusta, GA, Thomas was working on getting her high school diploma at Daytona Beach Community College. It is unknown how Thomas died. There were no apparent signs of bodily trauma. Back in October of 2007, police were waiting for the results of a toxicology report. |
